Returns & refunds

You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind. The dress must come back unworn, unwashed and unaltered, with the original tags still attached.

How to start a return

Email support@elsieaugust.com with your order number and a line about what went wrong. We answer within one business day and send you the return address. Please do not ship anything back before you have that address, or we cannot match the parcel to your order.

What happens next

Once the dress reaches us we check it and issue the refund to the original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank then needs its own 3 to 10 days to show it.

What cannot be returned

• A dress that has been worn, washed, altered or taken up by a tailor.
• A dress returned without its tags.
• A dress that comes back with make-up, deodorant or perfume marks.

Try it on over clean, dry skin and keep the packaging until you have decided.

Wrong, damaged or not the color ordered

Send a photo to support@elsieaugust.com within 48 hours of delivery. We cover the return shipping and either replace the dress or refund it in full, whichever you prefer.

Return shipping

For a simple change of mind, the return shipping is yours. When the fault is ours, it is ours.

Exchanges

We do not hold sizes for exchange. Place a new order for the size you want and return the first one — that way nothing sells out while your parcel is in transit.
