How long it takes

6 to 10 business days in total: 1 to 2 business days to prepare and check the dress, then 5 to 8 business days in transit. You get a tracking number by email the moment the parcel leaves.

Business days do not include weekends or public holidays. Orders placed after 2 pm are prepared the following business day.

If you have a date

Order at least three weeks before the event. That leaves room for the shipping window, for a try-on, and for a tailor if the hem needs shortening. Prom season peaks in March — February is the calm month to order.

Where we ship

United States, all 50 states. Dresses are dispatched from our production partners overseas.

Duties and taxes

The price you see includes the applicable import duty. If a carrier ever asks you for an extra import charge, send us the receipt at support@elsieaugust.com and we refund it.

Tracking says delivered, nothing arrived

Check with the neighbours and the building office first — most parcels turn up within 24 hours. If it has not, write to us within 7 days of the delivery scan and we open a claim with the carrier.

Wrong address

Email us within 12 hours of ordering and we can still change it. After that the parcel is with the carrier and we can only wait for it to come back.
